I went to Home Depot in Johnson City, NY and they were very nice. They said they don't even stock Dewalt, only Milwaukee, as it is better quality. They gave me the Milwaukee set straight up and that worked with no issue. They said that the Dewalt would probably be fine on wood interior doors. Easy to install and line up and came with everything you needed to make a door knob hole with the exception of the drill. The bits are OK at best. I only had three doors to drill and they managed to do the job and only chip off a few teeth. If this was something I was going to use over and over then I would get a better hole bit.

Would have been a good product had they done a little more designing and tested a little more. Like most others that bought this, when drilling out large hole the hole saw bottomed out and unable to remove from mandrel. As was mentioned in other reviews, I added a couple of washers and was able to finish my tasks. Wish I had spent a little more and bought a better one. Dewalt dropped the ball this time. I purchased this one due to the fact it was a Dewalt, thinking it would be a good product, They got me once, no more. If it weren't such a pain to take it back to get my money back, I would.

Low quality, cheap. I bought this, since it was lower cost than other models. Boy, was that a mistake. After drilling holes in several doors, I couldn't believe how cheaply made this product was.
First off, it's made entirely of a low quality plastic. During drilling, the hole saw shreds apart the plastic and leaves shavings everywhere. Maybe it's a one- time use??
Secondly, when you attach the jig to the door, you can't visually tell if the hole is aligned with the center of the door width. When I removed the jig after drilling the latch hole, I noticed it was no where near center.. I ruined my door. Next time, I'll buy the Milwaukee version which is likely better quality, given the higher cost. Can only blame myself..

Bought this product to replace 1/2 house worth of doors. First issue is the tool comes with no instructions, including safety instructions. If additional attachments and tools are needed there is no way to know that from the packaging. The jig portion of the product works well except for the initial plastic shavings others have mentioned. The cutting tools are worthless: Large cutter barely made it through one door and the teeth are visibly worn after 2 doors; it is impossible to change from the large cutter to the small cutter, (I needed mechanics tools to do so), the wood cut- out is very difficult to remove from both the large cutter and small cutter.
